Basic Intro to Audacity
11 March 2021 @ 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm GMT
£20.00
Would you like to be able to record and edit your own music? This basic starter session is aimed at people who are less confident with computer technology. If you have struggled to make sense of all those ‘How to’ videos and given up then this session is for you!
You will be guided through the basics of free audio editing software Audacity. (Guidance on how to download Audacity is available on our Resources page.)
You will be shown how to record a single track, how to edit and make the recording sound more professional. You will also learn how easy it is to make multiple tracks and how to edit different recordings together.
We will also cover how to export your edited file so you can create your own teaching materials or release your own music and share it with the world!
Liz views herself as someone who finds technology challenging! Having encountered many problems along the way herself, she will be able to reassure you and guide you through the key things you need to get you started – without worrying about technical jargon and confusing detail.
“Liz is a brilliant facilitator. She will go at your own pace, understanding that each person has their own learning style. She gives clear instructions and her own creative flair enables her to help people reach the results that they want. You will come away empowered to make sound recordings and films unique to your authentic voice.”
