Slow Session
8 September 2021 @ 7:00 pm - 8:45 pm BST
£10.00
This is a drop in class. You don’t have to be attending a regular class to come, just tune up and turn up!
Learn folk tunes by ear with Mairi at a speed we can all manage!
Mairi Campbell leads a fun and informative session every Wednesday evening. Each week we go through a collection of well loved tunes, some old, some new. Mairi offers individual support. All participants have exclusive access to Mairi’s online tunes library (of the tunes covered in class) so they can continue at their own pace. This includes a slowdowner and looper bedded into the function for more effective learning.
We enjoy some of the authentic traditions of sessions, including choosing tunes around the circle, bit of social chit chat, linking tunes into sets, and quaffing our favorite beverage albeit in the comfort of our own home.
LEVEL: Post beginners intermediate or advance.
