The Listen Inn: free session
13 March 2022 @ 4:30 pm - 6:00 pm GMT
Free
Sometimes, before we can make changes and plans we may not even know on what those changes would be based. Asking open questions is a way of creating space for new insights to arise. Then we begin to find reasons for changing.
This is a space to talk with Jenni about your musical life, its meaning and purpose for you now, in the light of recent challenges and changes we have all gone through.
Questions or calls for discussion may include: what are my values and needs now as a musician, artist and living, breathing, growing and changing human being? What are my priorities? Who else can I reach out to that would lift me up and take me into new territory or help deepen my current inquiry? These are just examples, you will each have your own words.
It can help to find what are the right kind of questions to ask yourself, and by making them truly open questions, not black and white, yes and no questions they become living journeys which you can inhabit.
Before you can know what direction of travel you wish to go in you may wish to pause here, and consider some of the above, as resting places to gently sit inside. Then, let the living energy of the call you are sounding inside give rise to new openings.
Jenni is offering this listening space, a pause, respond, sound and ‘be present for you’ space – with whatever comes up.
“I liked the way you shaped the time, with open questions and then moving towards thinking about our practice in relation to the questions, or what they had thrown up. It did open me up to thinking quite deeply about life…without having answers! I could learn to see this as an opportunity to dive into ‘word’ and make it work for me.”

“Grateful to have this opportunity to chat with musicians in this way and have it held, I enjoyed your transparency and openness to the flow – whilst gently holding time markers and reflections through the session. Not bringing too many exercises felt well paced. Thank you so much for offering this.”

“Jenni set the tone of the space beautifully…the sense of loving curiosity with no judgement… a rich palette of seeds that were planted in an insightful and loving way. Enriching experience, just what I needed.”
